Will the flu shot protect me from COVID-19?

Flu vaccine won’t protect you against coronavirus. They are completely different viruses, and flu vaccine will only protect you against influenza. You need to have the flu vaccine every year if you’re in the at-risk category because the virus changes year to year, and that’s why you are required to have it on an annual basis.
