Should I be taking aspirin?

by | Heart Attacks and Strokes

So, people with high cholesterol, diabetes, and hypertension should be screened to find out whether they have any blockages in their heart, with either an exercise test, or a CT scan. If they have blockages, those should be treated, and part of that treatment is aspirin. If the blood vessels to their heart are clear, despite the high cholesterol, diabetes, and high blood pressure, they shouldn’t have aspirin.
