Common Cold

Common Cold
The common cold is very contagious and can be caught anytime during the year. The best cure is to rest up, drink plenty of fluids and always wash your hands to prevent further contracting the illness.

There are actually over 200 viruses that can cause a common cold. They’re rarely serious, but they can cause a runny nose, blocked sinuses, and a sore throat.

You can catch one at any time of the year but they’re usually more common during winter. Rest up, drink plenty of fluids, and you should be feeling like yourself again within a week.

Colds can be very contagious though. You can avoid spreading them by washing your hands often, throwing away your used tissues, and staying away from work or school when you’re ill. Get better soon.
