Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Chronic fatigue syndrome can have a range of physical and mental affects of our daily life.In certain cases it can last for days, weeks even years. It is important to speak to a doctor and get it checked if you are regularly tired and fatigued. Exercise, therapy and seeking professional help can help a lot.

Chronic fatigue syndrome can cause a variety of symptoms and affect a range of systems in the body. Most notably, persistent unprovoked fatigue.

Impaired memory or concentration is also common. So are a soar throat, tender lymph nodes, and muscle and joint pain. Headaches and unrefreshing sleep may also occur. You know, cognitive behaviour therapy can sometimes help. That just means changing the way you think and behave. Graded exercise therapy is good, too. Gradually increasing the amount of exercise you do can really help get you back on your feet. You are looking better already.

For some people, chronic fatigue syndrome can persist for months. For others, years. Some people have periods of remission and relapse.

The important thing to remember is, help is available. Just ask.
