What are the signs and symptoms of mouth cancer?

Mouth cancer is a subset of a larger group of cancers called head and neck cancers. They occur in the tongue, in the mouth, the lining of the mouth.

What are the symptoms?

And very typically, you’ll feel a small lump in that area, perhaps with your tongue, perhaps on your tongue. There are not many other symptoms. Can cause pain, but usually that’s a fairly late symptom. The main sign is the feeling of a lump, or the ability to see a lump, either on the tongue or on the inside of the mouth.
