Once you’ve had your baby, there’s no evidence that the coronavirus, the SARS-CoV-2, is passed in your breast milk. So it’s unlikely that breastfeeding is going to pass the virus to your baby. And what people are saying is that what you should do is obsessive-compulsive hygiene. Wash your hands, probably wearing a mask while you feed the baby so that you’re not passing droplets to the baby. That would be the main course of action that people are recommending, but continue to breastfeed.
