Can I Work During The IVF Procedure? Dr. Jenny Cook

Absolutely you can work during the IVF procedure, and the weeks around it. We really aim to minimise the impact that IVF is going have on the rest of your life.

In terms of the time commitment for you, we would probably see you three or four times in the mornings. We run a clinic where we will monitor the stimulation process on your ovaries, with a blood test and an ultrasound. Then you go about your normal day. We’ll call you in the afternoon with the results.

The actual day of the egg collection you would need to take that day off and then about five days later, you would come in for a brief visit in the morning or afternoon to do the embryo transfer.
