Are the Other People that Live in the Same House as These Hotel Quarantine Staff also first to be Vaccinated?

The primary focus on early vaccine roll out are Hotel quarantine workers, the hope is they will be less likely to transmit the virus to their households.

My understanding is that it’s just the hotel quarantine border staff, drivers, cleaners, and so on. It’s those people who are first-line, and they will be protected against developing COVID-19 should they catch it.

The assumption is, and the hope is, that they will also be much less likely to transmit the virus. So my understanding is that at the moment their families are not considered high priority for immunisation, because hopefully their loved one who works in the facility, or the person they’re sharing a house with, will be protected and less likely to pass on the vaccine.

So I could be wrong about that, and it may vary from state to state, but at the moment it’s just the workers.
