Difflam mouth gel recall

Some tubes of Difflam Mouth Gel have been recalled due to possible microbial contamination.

The recall only affects 10 gram tubes with batch numbers 8177B or 8177D and an expiry date of June 2005, the Therapeutic Goods Administration has confirmed.

The gel is used for the temporary relief of painful inflamed oral conditions such as ulcers and sore gums. According to the manufacturer, 3M Pharmaceuticals, other products in the Difflam range are not affected.
