Research from the Child Nutrition Research Centre in South Australia has shown that these fears are unfounded and that up to 4 egg yolks a week can improve the child's nutrition, especially if the baby had been initially bottle-fed. Cholesterol levels became similar to those in breast-fed infants and their overall nutritional status improved.
