World Haemophilia Day is celebrated around the world to increase awareness of haemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders. It is celebrated on 17 April - the birthday of the founder of the World Federation of Hemophilia, Frank Schnabel.
In 2011, the theme is 'Be inspired, get involved in treatment for all'. Haemophilia Foundation Australia invites you to contribute and share inspiring stories of people with bleeding disorders, patient leaders and healthcare professionals.
