High blood pressure, or hypertension, is one of the most common preventable causes of illness and early death in adults.
Hypertension is a major risk factor for strokes, heart attacks and kidney disease. It usually causes no outward symptoms at first. When discovered it can usually be controlled, greatly reducing the risk of later problems.
Have you had your blood pressure checked lately? It's quick, painless and very important.
