TGA bans six over-the-counter products

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has banned 6 over-the-counter medications following a review of the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods.
The delisted products are: Naturopathica Arthro-Total Contact Arthritis Cream, Thermogenesis Capsules, Medislim Natural Advance Weight Control, Action Balm, Aussie Balm and Bio-Enhanced Squalene Six in One Capsules.
All products were removed due to incorrect certifications made by the sponsors, the TGA said.
Five products had formulation details outside the boundaries allowed by the TGA, while the sixth product was removed because the sponsor could not satisfy the TGA of its safety.
