National Gynaecological Awareness Day was established to promote awareness of gynaecological health and diseases, including vulval, uterine, ovarian and pelvic conditions.
Many women with gynaecological conditions feel isolated and suffer in silence. Gynaecological Awareness Information Network (GAIN) aims to help women find the information they need to make the 'right' health choices for them as individuals and to provide support as they face the challenges of gynaecological illness.
See myDr's Women's Health Centre for lots of information on gynaecological cancers, including ovarian cancer and vulval cancer, and other gynaecological problems, such as endometriosis and lichen sclerosus.
